The native macOS AI interview practice tool
Last updated:
Most interview tools are browser extensions or Windows programs. GoInterview is one of the few native macOS desktop clients: during mock interview practice it hears the question through system audio and shows talking points and coding solutions in a separate prompt panel. Apple Silicon and Intel are both supported. One-time purchase. For practice only.
Why Mac-native makes practice smoother
- System audio, straight to the question — it captures your computer's system audio (not the microphone) and needs no browser extension
- Global hotkeys — summon or dismiss the prompt panel without switching windows
- A separate prompt panel — suggestions appear in their own panel, so they never crowd the window you are working in
- No browser required — a standalone desktop app that runs alongside your meeting software
What it does
| Live listening | Captures system audio and transcribes the question as it is asked |
| Answer suggestions | Speakable talking points drawn from your résumé; STAR structure for behavioural questions |
| Coding questions | Screenshot the problem: a short approach first, then the full solution |
| Two languages at once | The listening language and the answer language are set separately; the interface language is independent |
| Meeting apps | System-audio based, so it works with Zoom, Teams, Webex, Tencent Meeting, Feishu, Skype and more |
Requirements and pricing
macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel). A Windows version is in closed beta and has not been publicly released.
Licences are a one-time purchase — four tiers, $39.99–$499 — with no auto-renewal and one device per key. Start with a free 2-hour trial.
